What type of books will we receive?


Books are carefully selected by our literary staff. Our thorough evaluation process reviews the author, content, illustration and language quality. We value books that are educational, rich with culture and experiences that reflect the diversity of our children. Our job is to sift through the mountains of content to pick out the true gems young children will enjoy. Following the review process, books in each box are hand selected based on the needs and interest and age of the child. Each bundle experience will contain new books for the young readers. What is Enlingos?


Enlingos is a try-before-you-buy service that sends Spanish-language and bilingual books for kids 0-7 years old. We believe it's important to foster the love of Spanish in young children but learned that finding quality Spanish books is a struggle for many parents in the US. Enlingos was created to service the gap that exists in the current market for quality language books more often found outside the US. To serve customers, we partner with special publishers that work with Spanish-language authors and English translations. We select fun, culturally relevant and diverse content that engages young hearts and minds in not only learning Spanish but also building an appreciation for different cultures.




How much does Enlingos cost?


Enlingos charges a non-refundable per month processing fee for each order. The fee goes towards our careful curation of the books, processing and import fees. The rest is up to you! Books in each bundle are priced at the retail cost of the books and range anywhere from $4.99 to $16.99. Each bundle will have a diverse selection of books that vary on price, selection and origin. You decide what you want to keep and what you want to send back. You'll pay the retail value of the books you keep and there is no charge for the books you want to send back. We have negotiated a discount rate for the bundle of books so that you'll save 20% off the retail cost of the books - cheaper than Amazon! While we do offer limited monthly deliveries, no subscription or ongoing monthly club registration is required. All shipping is free and we'll include prepaid packaging to make the return process hassle free.





Shipping Information

How do you ship your books and how do I ship them back?


Enlingos uses USPS to ship books. We provide a prepaid package label and materials to ship any books you don't want to keep back to us. As long as the package is postmarked by the fifth day of your trial period, you will not be charged the price of the books. Just leave the returned package with your USPS postman, drop it in a mailbox or visit the post office to ensure your package is back on its way.




Where do you ship to?


We offer free 2-way shipping within the 48 contiguous states (excludes Hawaii and Alaska). International shipping is not available at this time.




When will I receive my books?


Our boxes are shipped out twice a month, on the 5th and 20th of the month. If the ship date falls on a weekend or holiday, the shipment will go out the next business day.

If you place an order on the 6th of the month, while your credit card will be charged once you place the order, your next shipment will go out on the 25th. Orders can be canceled up to 24 hours after the order has been placed.

If you will be out of town or would like to delay your book shipment for a month, we can absolutely accommodate the change! Please reach out to us to update your shipment schedule.




How are books shipped?

Selecting Preferences

What age group should I select for my child?


We know it can be hard to decide which age group is best - especially if your child is between age brackets or has a lower level of Spanish understanding (see reading level question for more on this). If your child is between age brackets, we recommend looking at the type of material s/he is currently enjoying and what would help stretch them to the next phase of development. For example, if your child is older than 2 years 6 months, it may be helpful to “level up” to the 3-4 age group so that the books will be engaging for them in the next 1-3 years. While book complexity can vary substantially, we follow these guidelines:If your child is older than 2 years 6 months, select the 3-4 year age group If your child is older than 4 years 10 months, select the 5-7 year age group The age group is helpful in deciding the complexity of the content and stories in the books and, therefore, the age-appropriateness of the books. We know that it can be difficult to select the appropriate level of books for children, so if you ever want to switch age-ranges throughout a trial, we’ll be happy to change your age group selection. Placing and Managing Orders

What if I don't like the books and want to send them back?


Enlingos was designed to help you in the book discovery process. While we hope you and your children will enjoy all the books selected, sometimes that may not be the case, and that's okay! Each child is different and that's why it is so important for us to make sure you love it before you buy it. If, after 5 days, you do not like the selection, return the books you don't want in a prepaid package and postmarked by your scheduled return date. We'll only charge you for the books you keep. If you don't send your books back after 5 days, you don't need to take any extra steps, we'll go ahead and charge you for all the books and apply the 20% discount off the retail price. You won't be penalized for sending back books, the only charge on your card will be the initial $10 fee on top of any books you decide to keep.




What happens if a book gets damaged during the trial period?


We understand that it's hard to avoid accidents, especially with little ones. Much like a library, books are on loan and books need to be returned in excellent condition if a customer decides not to keep them. If you'd like to return a box that has a damaged book, we'll charge you 60% of the retail price for the damaged book. How can I select two or more bundles for multiple kids?


Currently, our platform is unable to process more than one monthly delivery at a time within one order. To order multiple bundles of the same ages, different ages, or even different delivery months you'll need to do separate checkouts for each bundle. However, you are able to add multiple 1 month bundles in one order. If you have any questions or have credit / promos you'd like to use with your multi-bundle order please get in contact with us and we can work with you to complete your checkout. We are working on a fix to this and apologize for the inconvenience!




I want to place another order, will I receive the same books?


Enlingos is here to offer you flexibility without long-term commitment. If you've made a past purchase and would like to place a new order you don't have to worry about receiving repeat books. Our management system keeps track of every book we've ever sent you. With any new orders you can be assured that you'll only receive new titles with each shipment. So if you'd like to place a 1 month order every few months or you received one of our gift boxes and want to place an order for Enlingos deliveries, go ahead - you'll always have new titles waiting for you!
